Jen's Digi Stamps - Freebie Friday

It is all about the birds today on Jen's Digi Stamps Freebie Friday.  I used a product by A*Muse that is called Stardust Finishing Spray.  A couple of spritz and the page is all sparkly.  I used it only on the chick.  I also used Flowersoft in Ivory.  I had purchased a new Sizzix die (jigsaw) and decided to use it on this card as well.  Hope you like my creation.

Here is a closeup of the chick - isn't she just adorable?

Well, Happy Friday everyone!  Hugs, Meg

Jen's Digi Stamps - Girl Power

Today is the beginning of Jen's Digi Stamps Girl Power Challenge.  I have made a card using Old Millie Relaxing.  This stamp just made me think of all the times women have to be powerful that they also need their relaxation time as well - with a little wine to go with it.  LOL!  Hope this card inspires you to create something for the challenge!

Here is a closeup of the image that I colored.  I used this new product called shaved ice to make the bath look all bubbly.  I just loved the effect.

Have a great Monday!  Hugs, Meg

Jen's Digi Stamps - Coffee Party

There is a Coffee Party tonight at 8:00 on this site for Jen's Digi Stamps.  The card that I made for this occasion, is really a Tea Party Gift Card.  I used two of the stamps from Jen's Digi Stamps, Girl Drinking Coffee and Coffee Cup.  Here is the front of my card:

This is a gift card that says Thinking of You!  The inside right has a pocket that is holding some biscotti cookies.

The inside left is holding two packets of ginger tea.  This is my favorite tea that was sent to me by my friend, Ying, from New York.  She sent it when I was sick at one time and it immediately made me feel better.  She has sent me more over the years since I cannot find it here in Raleigh.  Thank you so much Ying!!  Thinking of you today as I remember 9/11 and all that happened in New York.  Glad you were safe!

Jen's Digi Stamps - Freebie Friday

Who doesn't like a freebie?  Well, today at Jen's Digi Stamps it is Freebie Friday where you can get the adorable digi that I have used on the card  below.  Who doesn't like chocolate chip cookies?  Well, this is the cutest stamp and I had so much fun designing this card.  Hope you enjoy it!  Okay, who is going to go make cookies now?

Anything Goes with Jellybeans

I decided to do something other than a card for the Anything Goes Challenge here at SSCC.  I needed to make a gift for a friend of mine, so I thought it would be the perfect time to use this gift as my project.  Have you ever had a Starbucks drink?  The ones you get in the 4-pack at the grocery store?  Well, I like to save those bottles and use them for other projects, which is what I did here.

I filled the container with jelly beans, used the Just Rite stamp My Rainbow, and Core'dinations cardstock. I used chalk on the label so that it looks like a rainbow, but I used pastel colors so it is not evident in the pics.

My ingredient list is:
The top of the jar looks like this:

A close-up of the label is here:

I hope this has inspired you to be creative - because Anything Goes!!!
