Phi Mu

Well, my daughter decided to join a sorority this year.  It is kinda special for me since she joined the one that I was in at James Madison.  I was only in it for a year and a half.  I decided to go to ECU after that.  My daughter is now a double legacy - she goes to ECU (where her dad and I graduated from) and now in the sorority that I was a member of.  This is the first year that Phi Mu has been at ECU so she is a founding member.

In order to celebrate, I made some Phi Mu cards.

I then bundled them together as a set!

Halloween Web Card

I am going to post another card that I made for Halloween.  I know it is past Halloween, but really wanted to show this cute card.  Again, we have the spider with the wiggly eyes - just love those!

Just love this sentiment from A|Muse!  And the added candy corns are cute with the card as well.

Quick Birthday Card

I made a very quick birthday card to send to a friend in my card swap group.  I used an embossing folder to make the card base, used some cute DSP and one of my favorite birthday sentiments.

Tilda with Love

I found an image that I had colored a while ago when I was looking for something else.  Why does that always happen.  I start to look for one thing and find something else that I was looking for previously but not the item that I was looking for right then.  Oh well, I guess that I am not alone in this, at least I hope so, LOL!

Well, here is the image that I made into a quick card!

 

 

I love browns and pinks together and the blue went along with it.

Girl on Travel

I put together a quick card today with an image of a little girl on a suitcase.  I love the images that I can color.  I love coloring!  The designer papers that I found in my stash this morning, I felt, went perfectly.  I hope that you like this card.

 



This is the perfect card to post since we will be away this coming weekend!

Halloween Owl

I know that I have not been around on my blog lately.  Things have been so busy.  I did want to post a Halloween card that I made.  This is a Halloween Owl.  The colors are my favorite and I just love the jack-o-lantern inside of the owl. 

 

 

The spiders are a great touch with their little crazy eyes!  I hope that everyone had a wonderful Halloween.  Now we are on the fast track to Thanksgiving and Christmas!

Spellbinders Blog Hop - Ladybugs!

First, I am going to show my project.  There is another project below that I made as well.  Have fun with this amazing BLOG HOP!

I used Spellbinders Rounded Squares to complete my project:

Here is the outside of my project.  I took the beautiful Card Creator Swirl stamps that Cindy designed and stamped them on my white cardstock.  I then used the rounded squares to cut out the image and cut out the pink cardstock to make a very layered look.  I have to have a ladybug somewhere on all of my card designs, so I decided to highlight the center of the project using a Bug Hug stamp that Cindy designed.  I just love ladybugs!  I highlighted the center of the project with a beautiful pearl. 

  For my project, I used the following:

• Card Creator Swirls Clear Stamps
• Bug Hug Clear Stamps
• Memento Ink Pads in Ladybug Red and Tuxedo Black
• Stella Glitter Pen
• Cardstock
