Tilda in the snow

Normally I try to start my Christmas cards in July, however, I have been inspired by some of my friends that already have 50 Christmas cards made and ready to go.  I used a piece of dsp that had a Christmas tree on it and placed it on the card.  I then put a die cut on it that made it look like a window.  Tilda is colored in copics.  I used a snow pen on her coat to make the fur parts stand out.  She also has some sparkle on her because I love bling!  The card has a snowflake ornament on it. Okay, I still need to make more cards - one card will not cut it!  How many Christmas cards have you all made so far?

Wild Rose Studio Thank You Blog Hop!

Welcome to the SSDT Wild Rose Studio stamps Thank You Blog Hop.

We would like to take this opportunity to showcase projects made with Wild Rose Studio Stamps. They have so graciously provided our design team with their wonderful stamps to create with so we are hosting a blog hop.

Please be sure to visit visit each designers blog and leave a comment for a chance to win these

Wild Rose Studio Stamps.  One of our design team members will be the Mystery blog and one lucky person who leaves a comment on that blog will be the winner!

I used the stamp Dog and Chick for my project, which I colored with copic markers.  I wanted to make a background for the stamp so I used Tim Holtz distress inks to make a scenery and then embellished the card with pearls.  I love the flowers on the stamp so I wanted to make sure that I put more flowers on the card that were similar so they would tie in with the stamp.  I used the McGill Hydrangea Punch to make the flowers.  Doesn't the puppy's adorable face just make you smile?  Hope you enjoyed my card!

If you have missed anyone on the blog hop, I have listed the hop order below.

Ocean Breeze

This is a card that I made when I was thinking about the beach!  I used chalks to color the shells and twine wrapped around.  I love using cardstock that has a white core so that when you sand it, after embossing, you get to see the white shine through!

Paper This and That - June Challenge

Check out the monthly challenge over at Paper This and That!  You need to make a Father's Day card using the colors brown and blue.  Here is the contribution that I made for the challenge:
I love Tim Holtz stuff so had to utilize the new folders that I had gotten.  I also love sanding the core'dinations paper so that you see the white coming through.  Hope you will enter the challenge - you could win a cool chipboard book kit.
