Feathers

I have a new stamp set that is a bunch of feathers.  I believe they are peacock feathers.  I have made some amazing cards with these stamps this week.  I am really enjoying this stamp set.  I just want to show one card that I made to see what you think.

This is a great stamp set and I am having a lot of fun experimenting with it.  I will have to post more cards that I have made with this stamp set.

It's A Boy

I was commissioned to make a baby card for a boy baby.  This was requested by the same woman that bought the reveal cards the other day.  Her friend had a boy and she needed a card.

I made the card below for her.

The baby cards that I have been making this week have been pretty fun.  I need to make more of these soon.

Reveal Cards

I sell my cards at a local store called Going Local NC.  It is a store in my neighborhood that hosts the local artists and sells their creations.  I had a special order the other day for a couple of "reveal" cards.  I have to admit that I did not know what those were originally, but when I did some research I found out that reveal parties and cards are very popular right now.

Here are the cards that I made for this lady.

The doctor will write on the inside and then seal the envelope.  The reveal party will be when they open the envelope.  Really pretty cool!

Wish I were going to be there!

New Journey

I have started a new journey this year, Fun Stamper's Journey.  I am teaching a workshop every month now and we are making some great projects.

The first workshop was in January.  I posted teasers on the facebook page for my group.  These are the teasers.  I will post the real projects later in the week.

These were fun projects.  We have even better ones planned for February!

Happy New Year

I have been away from my blog for a while and now I need to get back to posting on this blog.

It was such a bad year last year - we had so much loss.  So far this year is so much better.  We have two new puppies and we are so enjoying them.  We got Maximus in November.  He is now 5 months old.  He gets along well with our 14 year old beagle.

He loves to walk at the park near us.

Our other new puppy was picked up two weeks ago.  He is 9 weeks old and is a little cutie.  He is best buds with Max.

We are so loving these puppies.  We are having the best time with them.  We look forward to a lot of fun and pics this year.
