Happy Birthday to You!

Today I am posting a Happy Birthday card using the Magnolia stamp Congratulations Tilda.  This is a quick card that I made for Stamping Scrapping Techniques and Tutorials Website.  This is an amazing site to belong to.  Check it out!

Sunflowers

What a wonderful Friday this is.  I am about to leave to go see my daughter, Brittany, at ECU.  We are going to the Purple/Gold Pigskin Pigout Party this weekend.  It should be a really good time.  However, before that, I wanted to post this Sunflower card.  I picked this image because I thought it would be perfect with this card design.  The sunflower is a digi stamp found at PriscillaStyle Store.  I love this digi set - especially the sentiments.  I am posting this card on the CDAC Anything Goes Challenge.

The papers that I used on this card are old DSPs from Stampin Up.  I thought the colors would be perfect.  I hope you enjoy this card!

This is a picture of the card from the front and closed.

The following images are of the card being opened.

Here is the inside of the card.

Happy Friday!

Nighttime at the Beach

If you have followed my post for a while, you will know that I love to go to Wine and Design places to paint, drink, and snack with my friends.  We have the best time doing this.  Well, I did it again a few weeks ago and am just getting around to posting this here.  We tried a new place this time and the instruction wasn't as good as the other place that we go to, but we muddled through and created a night beach scene.  The chair was the hardest part of the painting, but I think the whole thing turned out pretty good.  As always, I started with a blank canvas!

Then we started working on the sky:

Then we worked on the ocean and the moon.

We started working on the waves.

As you can see, adding colors here and there it starts to look like a painting.

But, it always looks better when it is totally finished.  I like this painting.

Happy Wednesday!

Orange You Sweet

Today is Tax Day!  Well, fortunately I have already completed and sent my taxes.  I always dread this day.  So glad that it is now behind us.

So, I have created a card with a new stamp set from A|Muse Studios.  I think that fruit stamps are in vogue this year.  I have seen them all around.  As I have said before, I love the sentiments that A|Muse has with their stamps.  I used their superfine glitter and clear embossing powder to make this card.  And, of course, their twine.  Hope you enjoy this card!

Triangle Tri-Fold Birthday Card

Today I am posting a Triangle Tri=Fold Birthday Card that I made.  This is a pretty easy card to make.  The directions for it can be found on splitcoast stampers.  I used a new stamp set that I purchased from A|Muse. I just love the sentiments that they have for their stamps.  I used some cupcake designer papers that I have in my scrap bin.  I am really trying to use more of my scraps so that I can get rid of them.  Every time I look through my scraps, I find some amazing papers that I forgot I had.

Here is a pic of the card closed:

An Owl as Easy as 1-2-3

Today I am posting a card for the CDAC Easy as 1-2-3 Challenge.  This digi is created by Nana Vic!  You should definitely check out her digis!  Okay, so this challenge had to have one sentiment, two designer papers, and three embellishments.  I had fun with this creation!

Friends are Sunshine

Crafters Digital Art Center, CDAC, has a Progressive Digi Freebie Challenge  where you can get a free digi.  When you post a your creation, you can then send an email for the next freebie.  There are 4 freebies you can receive if you are posting creations that you have made with each of them.  I have created a card using the first digi, which is an umbrella.  I hope you enjoy this card, it was really fun to create!  I used petaloo flowers that we received to create projects for in March.

Butterflies are Beautiful

I love butterflies, not as much as ladybugs, but they are next in line!  LOL!  I have designed a card with a digi image I received to enter into the Anything Goes Challenge at CDAC.  I hope that you will go to this site and join in the fun.  I took a maple tag and put a butterfly on it with marker and glitter.  This digi is created by Tiffany Doodles and is amazing.  I will be using this a bunch.

The CDAC challenges have just begun for April through June.

Happy Monday!
