Tilda with Hearts

Today is a new day for the Magnolia Challenge!  We are all about punches!  I have created a Tilda with Hearts card that uses several different Martha Stewart punches on the card.

One of my favorite Martha Stewart punches right now is the one you can punch anywhere.  If you can tell, the punch is of hearts.

I also used one of the Martha Stewart border punches for this card.  The sentiment is a Maggie stamp.  Here is a closeup of Tilda!

The papers are from Deja Vues.  I hope you are inspired to "Punch" out some cards of your own!

Happy Sunday!

Let me tell you about a Rooster!

The other day, one of my good friends and I, we went to a Wine and Design event at Artistic Abandon!  Wow, this is so much fun.  We had done one before but this time I took pictures of the journey!  So, we drink a little wine and start with a blank canvas!

See the wine to the left of the canvas!  We then painted the canvas black!

Next we started on the Rooster.  I wasn't quite sure I really like my Rooster when I started.  I thought it was too fat or something.

I guess I wasn't sure I like the head, but it grew on me.  We were painting with red, green, white and yellow.  Next, we started adding some blue.

This is when I started liking the Rooster.  I think it was because I really liked the blue!  We then started working on the tail.

We also did the grass and added a bit of red to the tail.  Now we are really adding the color, the eye, and finishing the Rooster!  So, what do you think?  I think the more you drink, the better you paint!  LOL!

Happy Wednesday!

Fairytale Tilda

I am kicking off the Fairytale Challenge and Magnolia Stamp Lovers with one of my favorites!  I just love the story of the Princess and the Frog Prince.  I have used the stamp of Tilda holding the Frog.

I love using purples and greens together!  I used a new Martha Stewart punch on this card as well as embellishments and scrap ribbons.

Here is a closeup of Fairytale Tilda:

Hope this inspires you to create your own Fairytale!

Baby Brunch Invitations

I was hired to make invitations for a Baby Brunch.  They wanted a picture of the mom-to-be and the colors needed to be in brown and pink.  This is the invitation - I think they came out really good!

Happy Friday!

Valentine Twine

Today is my day to post my twine project for the MSL Challenge.  I used one of the new Tilda images, Tilda with cozy heart.  I love this image!  I also love the Spellbinders Nestabilities Heart Circles that I used on this card.

Here is the card that I created:

Here is a close up of Tilda:

Hope this inspires you to create your own twine project!   Happy Thursday.
