Watercolor Tilda

I have not updated my blog for a little bit due to surgery that I had last week.  I just never found myself in the same room as my computer and couldn't update easily on my iPad.  Well, things are getting back to normal in the house, so I am posting a few things today.

The Tilda with a suitcase on this card was done by watercoloring with Tim Holtz distress inks.  I have been taking a class online to learn this technique.  I have to say that it is so easy and so much fun.  I had never used an aqua painter before this, and just love it.  No dipping a brush into water all of the time.  I stamped the distress inks onto wax paper and then used the aqua painter to color the image.  I used Stampin Up watercolor paper to stamp the image on. I like using the dotted background.  I have done this with copic markers as well.  I hope that you like what I have done here.

  2. Where online are you taking the class. I took a Tim Holtz class at our local store called Ink Boot Camp. I loved the watercolor and alcohol techniques and would like to get more details about it. Your cards are just beautiful. How do you make the background cutouts?
